Benin is the spiritual heart of West Africa. It is where I learned the truth that changed everything: a plant is not a chemical factory. A plant is a person.
Learning from the Elders
My teacher was an old man named Koffi. He spoke to trees. He sang to roots. He said: "I am asking permission. The spirit of the plant withholds its full power from those who do not respect it."
Three Principles
1. Respect the plant. Greet it. Leave an offering. 2. Timing matters. Harvest at dawn, under specific moons. 3. Invoke the ancestors. Without their blessing, a remedy is just wet leaves.
Sacred Plants
Baobab — bark for deep healing. Neem — purifier of spiritual and physical toxins. Moringa — the elders said: "It feeds the spirit that animates the body."
If you are suffering from something modern medicine cannot explain — reach out. The plants are not silent. They are waiting.
